Beau Zinman is a 2007 OF with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame from Vista, CA, who attends Rancho Buena Vista HS. Zinman has a tall, lean, and athletic frame with good projection. He runs very well with fluid strides and has good game quickness. Defensively he moves to the ball well with smooth actions, and covers ground in the outfield. Throws well with an easy arm action and gets online carry. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a slightly open stance with a flexed knee. Zinman has quiet hands with an advanced approach and a good idea at the plate. He stays balanced through his swing with a line drive bat path. Shows the ability to hit to all fields, and should hit fir a good average with projectable power. He has great upside to his games and needs to be followed closely. He is also a very good student.

Beau Zinman is a 6'1" 155 pound 2007 outfielder from Vista, California who attends Rancho Buena Vista High School. He has a lively athletic body with an average frame and square shoulders that will support more muscle. During the workout, he ran a 7.08 60 and threw 83 mph from the outfield showing good speed and a very strong arm. He also ran a very good 4.67 down to first base during batting practice. Beau starts with an average base and has a good balnced smooth swing with an aggressive approach. He is a middle of the line up hitter who will drive in runs as well as steal some bases. Zinman covers some ground in the outfield with his speed and his good reads. His throws have good carry and he is very balanced on his throws which are very accurate. Beau is a must follow who is a good student as well.

He showed very good arm strength during the showcase games with great accuracy. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with good bat speed from a slightly open stance. Zinman makes solid contact with a loose swing with minimum effort, but still shows an aggressive swing towards contact. He doesn't chase bad pitches and has a good understanding of the strike zone. Zinman is a solid follow, and is a good student as well.
