Christopher Cobb is a 2012 RHP/SS with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Hamilton, GA who attends Northside HS. Slender young build, room to get stronger. High 3/4's arm slot, quick arm with medium arm circle, tends to fall off to first base side on release. Mid 80's fastball gets good running action at times, topped out at 85 mph. Big breaking curveball with good spin, has feel for spotting and using curveball. Nice action on change up, both off speed pitches work for him. Aggressive right handed swing, quick hands, pull line drive contact, tends to pull off the plate at times. Good hands in the infield, shows range, quick release. Hustling high energy type player who should keep improving. Good student.
