Hunter Waddell is a 2011 RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Shreveport, LA who attends Captain Shreve HS. Athletic build, good present strength. Fairly clean delivery, has some deception, compact arm action hides the ball well, some effort on release, high 3/4's slot, throws downhill well. Fastball to 83 mph, challenges hitters early in the count, curveball is soft but has tight spin and good 12/6 downer break, works in an occasional change up. Aggressive pitcher. Excellent student.
