Zach Powell is a 2011 OF/IF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Reeds, MO who attends Carthage. Powell has a tall athletic build. He hits with a wide base at the plate, high hands, solid bat speed, long extended finish, stays inside ball, occasional lift and leverage, will improve with adjustments. Solid arm in the outfield, long arm action, online throws with carry, can come through ball more. Projectable athlete that should keep improving. He is a great student.
