Ian Anderson is a 2010 3B/P with a 6'0'', 165 lb. frame from Stormville, NY who attends Carmel. Lean athletic build. Showed good hands at 3B, short arm action, accurate throws, tends to sit back but showed good footwork when he charged on balls. Pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot, clean long arm action from the mound, pounds the zone aggressively, 12 to 6 break on CB has good spin, showed feel for CH as well. Hits from a slightly closed stance, solid contact, hits mostly to pull side, strength in swing. He is a good student.
