Michael Bollmer is a 2012 1B/RHP with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Bryan Station. Big strong player with a workhorse pitcher's build. Up to 86 with his fastball after topping at 88 at the WWBA 17u National Championship in July. Long arm action with a quick, loose arm. Balanced delivery, throws on a downhill plane. Fastball has sink and arm side run. Struggled with command but raw stuff is very impressive. Threw 11/5 curveball with good spin and a changeup with good deception and same arm speed as his fastball. Also has shown very good tools at the plate and big power previously. High level follow. Louisville commit. Good student.
