Chaz Hebert is a 2011 LHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Breaux Bridge, LA who attends Breaux Bridge HS. Slender projectable pitcher's body. Big leg raise delivery, lands closed with front side, 3/4's release point, arm is loose and fast, ball comes out easily. Upper 80's fastball, touch 89, more in there, has good FB life around the plate. Big slow curveball for strikes, didn't see change up. Easy low 90's type arm with mechanical adjustments and added strength, just developing off speed. Project to follow closely. Verbal commitment to Louisiana Lafayette.

Tall delivery, lands very closed with right foot, pitches from far 3B side of rubber, needs to get directional in delivery. Very loose arm, good arm speed, ball gets on hitters quickly, throws + downhill from high 3/4's release point. Upper 80's fastball to 88 mph, big soft CB is affected by closed release. Potential low 90's southpaw with adjustments and added strength. Follow closely.
