Dalton Davis is a 2013 3B/RHP with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Meridianville, AL who attends Hazel Green HS. Big strong mature build. Primary 3B, grades out higher as a right handed pitcher. Low effort delivery and release, high 3/4's arm slot, compact arm action, works quickly. Fastball steady at 85 mph, has topped at 88 frequently this summer, FB gets good cutting action at times. Nice sink on Chg, might be a split, can improve spin on curveball, may want to look at a slider. Left handed hitter, rotational swing with limited weight shift, tends to lean off, will flash strength at times. Charges the ball well at third base, multiple arm angles, good arm strength from lower release. Good student.

Dalton Davis is a 2013 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Hazel Green, AL who attends Hazel Green HS. Big strong physical build. Left handed hitter, very spread stance, aggressive swing, creates bat speed, long and strong with lift and extension, looking to drive the ball, power approach, will have to shorten at the next level but has the strength and bat speed to hit. 7.30 runner, good carry on throws, moves well to his left, playable hands. Also pitched, potential two-way prospect. Standard delivery, good balance, gets back turned, compact arm action, hides ball, 3/4's release point. Mid 80's fastball, topped at 87 mph, good cutting action glove side, straight arm side. Big curveball with good depth at times, developing change up, around the plate with all his pitches. Good student.
