Taylor "Tootie" Wood is a 2013 MIF/3B/C with a 6-0 212 lb. frame from Chattahoochee, FL who attends Blountstown HS. Thick strong build. 7.29 runner, third base actions and tools, good feet defensively, stays balanced, better moving in than laterally, playable arm strength. Right handed hitter, exaggerated open stance with leg raise trigger, foot inconsistent getting down in time, short swing, has some strength at the ball, mostly mid to opposite field contact, trouble covering outside half. Has the hands/strength to hit andshowed very good power potential. Good student.
