Justin Camp is a 2011 RHP/1B with a 6-1 225 lb. frame from Decatur, AL who attends Austin HS. Big strong square shouldered build, physically mature. Slow paced delivery, rears back and throws, high 3/4's to overhand release point. 88-91 mph fastball, good FB life at times, challenges with his fastball and works around the zone. Throws 2 different curveballs, 76 mph curveball has good depth/spin, upper 60's curveball is "show me" pitch, has nice feel for change up. Repeats his delivery and throws strikes. Deceptively good athlete, agile actions at first base, shows power in his swing. Good student, verbal commitment to Auburn.

Camp has a strong pitchers build, balanced delivery, 3/4 arm angle, fast loose arm, maintains velo, heavy low 90's, showed good change and a 11/5 curveball that works, good three pitch mix, highest level pitching prospect that needs to be followed very closely. He also showed good ability with the bat, good power potential, ball jumps off bat. He is also a good student.
