Michael Simmons is a 2012 RHP/IF with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Silsbee, TX who attends Silsbee HS. Medium build, strength to lower half, sloped shoulders. Simple delivery on mound, repeats well, will alter arm angle at times, gets good sink and run on FB, works both sides of the plate, showed a CH that flashed good sink, maintains proper armspeed on CH. Attacks the ball out front on the infield, feet work quick, good first step and moves well to glove side. Open stance at the plate, hands are quick through zone, short swing with batspeed, long finish, generates line drive contact.
