Simple approach and pitching mechanics. Rock and fire delivery with big arm circle in back. Good, clean arm stroke with easy velocity. Online and downhill mechanics. Was able to throw fastball for strikes to both sides of the plate. Curveball had 11/5 break with good depth. Works to bottom of zone. Has good present pitchability with very good potential. Very good student.

Arnold Capute is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Baltimore, MD who attends Friends School of Baltimore. Capute has a tall and slender frame, a very projectable pitcher's build with room for added size and strength. High 3/4 arm slot on the mound and uses a long two-piece arm action, getting a good downhill plane to the plate and driving the ball to the mitt. He uses his height well and has solid, repeatable mechanics. Works both sides of the plate with his fastball and keeps hitters off-balance with a tight spinning 12-6 curveball with downer break. Comes through the ball well in the outfield and shows off his arm strength on accurate throws to bases. Straight away stance at the plate, gets good leverage, line drive contact and makes hard opposite field contact as well. Good student.
