Brady Lail is a 2012 RHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from South Jordan, UT who attends Bingham HS. Slender loose build, not much present strength. Slow paced delivery, stays over rubber, accelerates to the plate, some effort at release, full extended arm circle, high 3/4's arm slot. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 91 mph, mostly straight, tends to miss glove side with FB. Curveball best pitch, hard curveball spin with huge depth at times, has trouble commanding CB at times due to size. Nice change up, good arm speed with some fade. Three good pitches, will need to tone down effort and refine command. Topped out at 85 last summer, still projects. Showed good hitting mechanics and a smooth swing, good barrel. Good student.
