Ostrander is an "04" OF with big time MLB tools. At 6'2/190 he's very lean and athletic. He runs very well, MLB average or better. He has exceptional arm strength from the outfield (90) mph, with good carry and smooth throwing action. His body and fast arm work very well together. It's mind boggling that he doesn't pitch. At the plate, he's an aggressive attacker with excellent bat speed. His bat, especially with wood has a little ways to go in order to be an early round pick, but this kid is so naturally athletic, he's going to get there. He's going to hit and hit with power. One of the best athletes in the Northeast with a very special arm. Mark is a good student too.
