Anthony Gugliero - Gugliero is a 6'2 lanky RHP/IF from Massapequa, NY. He has a thin, lean, athletic body that projects in a big way. He showed good baseball and athletic ability. On the mound he topped out at 82 mph with a nice smooth fluid delivery. He has very good arm action and throws without tension or effort. More importantly he has that fierce competitive demeaner and a no fear attitude on the mound. His breaking ball showed some tightness, but it is a pitch that he will improve with more velocity. He also threw a 73 mph change up and it looked like he had a good feel for that pitch. Gugliero runs fairly well and shows position tools. However, he will probably be a pitcher at the next level. With his physical projection and smooth arm action, he should easily end up in at least the mid to upper 80s before long.
