Jordan Taylor is a 2011 OF/LHP with a 6-2 225 lb. frame from Palm Coast, FL who attends Flagler Palm Coast HS. Tall thick build, very good present strength. 7.18 runner, clean arm action with present arm strength. Left handed hitter, exaggerated open stance, pull line drive swing approach, busy load, quick hands, has some strength at contact, aggressive swing, lacks extension out front. Also pitched, low effort balanced delivery, compact arm action, repeats delivery well, fastball very steady at 87-88 mph, slider showed sharp, hard spin and a tight bite, good feel for pitching, overpowered hitters. Much higher ceiling as a left handed pitching prospect, two present quality pitches and command.
