Hunter King is a 2011 MIF/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Mason City, IA who attends Newman Catholic. He has a medium with athleticism. He covers a lot ground at SS, showing a good arm, and smooth, clean actions. Upright stance at plate,smooth with load, and swing is short to the ball. Showed good pop to all fields, and hand quickness.On the mound his arm works well. He hides the ball well, creating deception and has clean mechanics. He throws 4 pitches for strikes, with a sharp slider being his #2 pitch. Also, flashed a changeup with potential.
