Wise is a 5-11, 190 lb 2006 catcher from Florida with a solid, strong body. He is a good defensive catcher who can get the ball down to second base well. His release is quick and has good arm strength at 76 mph. Wise throws the ball accurately as well. At the plate, Kyle has a nice short stroke with a good approach. Wise has a nice simple swing with some bat speed in game. He will try and lift and pull the ball at the plate. Wise has good balance at the plate. That balance combined with a nice short swing will enable him to hit at the next level.
