Kody Paul is a 2006 RHP/1B/3B with a 6'2'', 205 lb. frame from Brunswick Georgia, who attends Glynn Academy. Paul might be one of the most under rated two-way prospects in the country. He has a big, strong, and durable body who will throw 90 mph+, and can hit with power as well. On the mound he has a loose and lively arm that helps produce an 89 mph heavy fastball. We think he will be an easy 90 mph guy this coming spring before the draft. He is a power pitcher who also throws an 11 to 5 curveball with late, tight bite. He stays balanced in his delivery and he has a very good arm. At the plate he has very good bat speed with raw power. He loads his hands well, and gets great leverage at contact that helps produce strength and power. Paul stays in well against left handed pitchers, and will hit for a high average and power at the next level. He also has good footwork defensively with nice hands. He is a must follow and should be getting attention from the pro scouts next spring.
