Zach Johnson is a 2010 RHP/OF/1B with a 6'5'', 185 lb. frame from Champaign, IL who attends St Thomas More HS. Tall and lanky build, shows projectability. Extended arm action, multi-piece delivery, effort on release. Over the top release point, good downhill plane. Fastball to 84 mph, mostly straight, showed feel for a change up, curveball can be tightened up. Had pitchability, threw strikes. Some leverage with the bat, squared up on ball during games. Very good student.
