Justin Walker is a 6'4" 200 pound 2006 third baseman and right handed pitcher from Dallas, Texas who attends Highland Park High School. He has a big league body that shows good strength. Justin has a good swing at the plate with good bat speed and extension. He has big time power and uses the entire field. He hit line drive after line drive with power. In the field, he has soft hands and solid actions. He has good flex in his lower half. Walker has closer type stuff on the mound. His fastball is a very heavy sinker at 89 mph that is very tough to hit. He also throws a hard curveball at 75 mph with very sharp bite. Justin has very solid tools with projectable power at the plate. He is a highest level prospect who is a very good student as well.

Walker is a 6-4, 205 lb senior third baseman from Dallas with a professional profile body. He's very strong throughout while maintaining his overall looseness and flexability. Walker is a big time power hitting prospect from the right side. He has plus bat speed with extension to his swing and the ability to hit the ball hard to all fields. It's a nice looking swing that holds up against good pitching. Walker's other tools play at a high level as well. He has good quickness and agility at third base with plenty of arm strength to make all the plays. He's especially good at making the charging play on the slow roller. Walker is also a college level pitching prospect with an 87 mph fastball, sharp 72 mph curveball and polished 74 mph change up. He graded out as one of the top 5 pitching prospects at the showcase. Walker is a very good student who should develop into an excellent college player while getting his share of professional attention from the scouts.
