2004 Underclass National Showcase
Justin Fry -- Fry is a tall, wiry junior right handed pitcher from Georgia. His legs and arms appear extra long and he might be one of those young athletes who gain a significant amount of weight as they mature. Fry has a nice balanced delivery with a long arm circle in back and good extension out front. He could get a little more involvement from his lower half. Fry’s fastball topped out at 84 mph with good tailing movement. He threw a 65 mph curveball that had some sharpness and depth to it and could become a strikeout pitch for him in the future. Fry has a very good feel for the strike zone with both pitches. He didn’t show a change up. Very projectable RHP for "05".
