Cooperman is a 5-7 second baseman from Northern California with a strong, compact build. He ran the 60 in 7.37 and threw 69 mph during infield drills. He shows quick actions on defense and does a good job getting behind the ball and making good fundamental plays. Cooperman is a very patient hitter who probably walks a lot in normal competition. He has a short contact oriented swing and is looking to hit the ball where it’s pitched. His quickness is an asset running bases. Cooperman is an excellent student looking at top academic schools in the Northeast.
