2003 Northeast Underclass Showcase
Durso is another one of the very good looking hitters in the Northeast Underclassmen showcase. His outfield potential depends mostly on his running ability which played better than the 7.26 in the 60 on the long outfield grass indicates. He is athletic and can cover ground in the outfield. His bat is a solid one and it showed a good swing plane, a nice short hard swing and the ability to hit the ball where it was pitched with some authority. Durso was selected as a starting outfielder in the Top Prospect game. Joseph is a good student.
