Johan Trinidad is a 2006 OF/1B/LHP from San Juan, Puerto Rico with a 5'11", 150 lb. frame. Johan has an athletic build that translates into his smooth actions in the field and at the plate. Offensively Johan has a short level swing, and keeps his weight back well. He drives the ball consistently to all fields, and this tool should profile well for the next level. In the outfield Johan has very good range, with an long arm action that produces accurate throws. Johan could pick up even more arm strength if he incorporated his lower body more into his throws. At first base Johan shows a very good set of hands, with a quick release, and very accurate throws. Johan currently has a strong set of tools, and will need to add strength to his frame to maximize his current ability.
