Chase Daniels is a 2011 RHP/1B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball HS. Nice athletic body, good present strength. High leg raise delivery, extended arm action, some effort on release. Low 80's fastball, topped at 84 mph, hard running action on FB, slurve type 70 mph breaking ball, big sweeping action, changes speeds/locations well. Wide stance hitting, good swing, uses strength well, showed his power, ball comes off barrel hard. Smooth defensive actions at 1B, quick feet, shows range. Solid all around player, good student.

Daniels has a tall athletic frame, pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot, short arm in back, clean hand separation, quick arm, velocity will increase with more strength and minor adjustments, flashes tight 11-5 spinning curveball with good depth and bite. Hits from a square stance, shows good bat speed, ball clocked at 92 off bat during game, ball will jump off his bat, defensively short arm action, ball comes out well, good fielder. Daniels is also an excellent student. Named to Top Prospect team.
