Jeffrey Piscitelli is a 2007 right handed pitcher/corner infielder from Wallingford, Connecticut. He has a stocky 5'11", 215 pound body, and was named to the Underclass Top Prospect Team. Although he plays the infield, his future is as a pitcher. Piscitelli throws from a ¾ arm slot with good long arm action. His fastball topped out at 84 mph, but we’ve seen him as high as 86 mph earlier in the summer. He also showed good arm action on his off speed pitches, and throws a sharp 11-5 curveball at 71 mph, and backs that up with a 75 mph change up. He is a definite 07 prospect to watch in the future.

Jeffrey is a very young '07 RHP/IFer with thick, stocky 5-11/215lb power pitcher's body from Wallingford, CT. He projects well as a pitcher. He throws from a H3/4 arm slot with a long arm action and solid mechanics. His fastball is consistantly between 84-86mph and comes out of his hand well. His CV is 68mph with a 11-5 rotation and tight spin. He throws his CH at 71mph. We like his aggressive approach to the strike zone and good arm strength. This one is a definite prospect to follow closely in the next two or three years with draft potential.
