Andrew Gomez is a tall and lean 6'2/180 left handed senior from Illinois. He worked out both in the outfield and at first base, and we like him better in the outfield. His 7.34 speed plays better there and he has playable arm strength. At the plate, Gomez hits from an upright stance with a high elbow and little lower body involvement. He shows some smoothness to his swing and a good finish out front. He looks like he might hit a ton at the next level. Andrew is also a strong student.
