Christopher Walker is a 2010 SS/P with a 6'2'', 160 lb. frame from Rustburg, VA who attends Rustburg. Christopher has a lean athletic build with some room to fill out. At the plate Christhopher has a line-drive swing plane and makes consistent contact to all fields. He needs to work on his balance quit a bit as he tends to lung in on pitches and get too long with his swing. In the field Christopher's tools best project at third base where he has an accurate arm and solid actions. On the mound Christopher has an aggressive pitching style and throws with a short quick arm action from a 3/4 arm slot. He has good arm speed and shows the making of a solid 10 to 4 curveball and a nice straight change-up. Christopher is a player that could attract the attention of many mid-level college programs as a pitcher.
