2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Bill Fallis is a 2010 LHP/1B/OF with a 6'1'', 165 lb. frame from West Chester, PA who attends West Chester East. Bill has a lean athletic build with some room to fill out. On the mound Bill has good pitchability with a short quick arm action and a good downhill plane on his pitches. Bill has a clean delivery with a good drop and drive and shows feel for a solid 2 to 8 curveball. At times he nibbles a little too much on the mound and will want to try and challenge hitters a little more. At the plate Bill has a level swing plane from the left side and makes consistent solid contact. He turns on the ball easily, but really needs to work on getting more extension out front. In the outfield Bill has good actions to the ball with solid footwork and a nice arm action on his throws. He shows clean actions at first base and does a good job of staying in front of the baseball. Bill is a solid student that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs in a few years.
