Kamin is a 6-0, 195 lb corner infielder from Chicago with thick, strong hips and thighs. He ran the 60 in 7.28 and threw 72 mph during infield drills and projects best at first base in the future. Kamin has strong hands at the plate and has some bat speed but has an unusually low wrapped hand set and load that keeps him from reaching his offensive potential. He’s mostly an opposite field hitter at this point but could improve quickly with some adjustments. Kamin is an outstanding student.
