Jason Clucas is a 2006 first baseman/outfielder from St. John's Prep in Peabody, Massachusetts, with a strong and athletic 5'11"/185 pound frame. He showed athletic actions and reactions to the ball in the outfield. Clucas has clean arm action and made accurate throws at 81 mph. A right handed hitter, Jason hits from an open stance with high hands. He takes a small stride and has good hands as a hitter. Clucas generates good bat speed and also has leverage in his swing. He makes consistent hard contact at the plate and has good raw power.
