Grant Godwin is a 2008 OF with a 5'11'', 175 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends Northview. He has a very athletic build and has excellent speed and was timed in the 60 at 6.63. In the outfield he showed very clean actions with good footwork. He also showed arm strength up to 82 mph. At the plate he showed a good flat bat path and had bat speed from a simple approach. He had a wide base with decent balance from a square stance. In the games he impressed with good gap to gap power and his ability to hit the ball down in the zone. His combination of tools make him a very intriguing prospect to watch.
