Andrew Manning -- Manning is a sophomore third baseman with a very strong and physical body for his age. He looks the part of the power hitting third baseman. Manning generates good bat speed from a narrow stance and a nice, level swing plane. It’s not a power approach right now but he can learn to lift the ball more as he gets more repetitions. Defensively, Manning (a catcher) showed very good arm strength at third base and has playable actions. Hopefully, he will improve his running ability over the next couple years, because it's the only thing missing from his game. He also showed a good sinking fastball around 80 mph from the mound.
