2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Evan Campbell is a 2009 MIF with a 5'10'', 160 lb. frame from Beloit, OH who attends West Branch. Evan has an athletic build with some room to add strength. At the plate Evan has an aggressive hitting approach from the left side of the plate and has some present strength in his swing. He shows solid bat speed and makes consistent solid contact, but needs to clean up his hitting mechanics some. In the field Evan has good footwork with nice range. His arm best projects at second base for the time being. Evan is a strong student that should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
