Ivan Otsuka is a 5'6" 130 pound 2007 outfielder from El Dorado Hills, California who attends Oak Ridge High School. He has a small compact lively frame and build with good footwork and actions in the field. He has a solid arm showing it by throwing 78 mph from the outfield. He has a short release and has good footwork charging the ball. Ivan is a solid leadoff man that knows his role and can get on bases many different ways. He has a compact swing that gets short to contact and enhances his ability to center the ball and use the whole field. He has the actions and aggressive tempo to his game, when strength does come he can get his game to a different level and over achieve his present role. Otsuka has a gamer mentality with a lot of desire to play the game. He ran a 7.51 60 showing decent speed.
