Hugh Wilhelm is a 2007 MIF/3B that attends Ithaca HS and resides in Ithaca, NY with a 6'2", 200 lb. frame. Hugh has a strong athletic build and was one of the top performers at the event. At the plate Hugh has a level swing plane with good power potential. He really drove the ball well during the games and looks to be a solid college hitting prospect. In the infield Hugh shows very solid 3B tools. He has a big arm with a short quick release and looks very comfortable in the field. Hugh is a player that will attract the attention of many high-level college programs.

Hugh Wilhelm is a 2007 MIF/3B with a 6'2'', 200 lb. frame from Ithaca NY, who attends Ithaca. Wilhelm has a strong body with a good lean athletic build. Defensively, Wilhelm has very active feet and moves to the ball smoothly. His defensive actions are very athletic and under control He has good arm strength and makes online accurate throws with carry. His hands are soft and makes picks well. At the plate, Wilhelm starts with a wide stance and uses a no load approach. He starts his swing with a short stride and he keeps his weight back well. Wilhelm is balanced through finish and he swings on a level path. He takes the bat head to the baseball well and has strength in his hands and wrists. Wilhelm has bat speed and can really hit. He is a very good student and has a high ceiling.
