Logan Moon is a 2010 OF with a 6'0'', 160 lb. frame from Lee's Summit, MO who attends Blue Springs South HS. He has an athletic build with some developing strength for his age. Moon has smooth, athletic actions in all areas of the game and projects very well. The only tool he is short on right now is his running speed and there is no reason that that should improve as he gets stronger and more mature as well. Moon did show very good range in centerfield due to his good jumps and instincts and his throwing arm is strong and very accurate. Offensively, Moon has very sound hitting fundamentals for a young hitter, although he will pull off the ball on occasion. He has bat speed and squared up to the ball very well in both BP and in games, hitting solid line drives to the middle part of the field. Keep a close eye on Moon, he does things pretty easily on the field and is projectable. He could be a good one. Moon was named to the Showcase Top Prospect Team.
