Wole Imoukhuede is a 2009 OF/2B with a 5'7'', 145 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton HS. He has a smaller, lean frame with miminal present strength. Imoukhuede has nice quickness, he ran the 60 in 7.11 and has a quick first step. He's an outfielder who showed good speed to the ball and a long, smooth arm action that produced nice, strong throws. He's listed as a secondary second baseman but didn't play that position. He's a good defensive outfielder. Offensively, Imoukhuede has a good fundamental swing. He pulls his front shoulder off the ball some to try to generate bat speed but keeps his hands short to the ball. Mostly he just needs to add strength to improve his bat speed while keeping the same approach. Imoukhuede is a good overall athlete who will be able to use his speed and outfield skills to help a team. He is also a good student.
