Hank is a 2006 grad from Huntington Beach High School in Southern California area. He is physically strong right now. Despite his size and strength, Hank is very flexible athletically with enormous raw power and good lift and carry to balls from both sides of the plate. He's also a lively kid who plays with a lot of hustle, shows you quality effort in drills and in games. Behind the plate Hank has very good, soft hands and will handle anybody on any staff with comfort . His set up is high, which causes him to be late laterally but this is correctable. Hank has a clean quick release and will improve his pop times and game arm strength with experience. He does have excellent raw arm strength. Hank's swing features very strong hands from both sides of the plate. He is short to ball with excellent bat speed. Hank has the potential to be a top draft pick when his turn comes in two years. He is a quality student should he choose to go the college route.
