Hamilton Bennett is a (2007) ,6'2-170 LHP/1B from Tega Cay, South Carolina with 7.36 sixty speed and 4.51 home to first time. Hamilton had an athletic frame that still has room to fill out. He threw from a 3/4 arm slot with well above average arm speed. He showed an 83-85 mph fastball with good life and command and a 66-68 mph curveball with good late life. Mechanically Bennett repeats his delivery well and works quick. He also worked out in the outfield as well as first base. He has a very strong arm in the OF. He has right field arm strength with carry. Hamilton is also good at first base with nice footwork and athletic actions. At the plate, he shows above ave hitting skills with a drift to contact. He is short to the ball and used no load and has no trigger to get him started. Good bat speed and athletic frame. Developing strength with room to grow. He was very good on the mound with potential future as two way player. He was named to the Top Prospect game. Hamilton should be a top prospect in a few years and will draw attention from college and professional recruiters. It should be fun to see him develop over the next few years
