Gregory Annarummo is a 2007 3B/P with a 6'2'', 205 lb. frame from Rehoboth, MA, who attends the IMG Academy. Gregory has a strong athletic build and showed very good two-way potential at the event. At the plate Gregory has a simple approach with a short line-drive swing. He is short and quick to the ball and can really drive the ball from gap to gap. Gregory tends to hit off his front foot too much, but he still produces consistent hard contact. In the field Gregory looks the part of a college third baseman. He has good all-around actions with big arm strength. Gregory showed good footwork and a polished fielding approach. On the mound Gregory has a long arm action with a 3/4 arm slot. He uses a heavy fastball very well with nice sinking action. Gregory is a player that will have an instant impact as soon as he steps foot on a college campus.

He has a simple approach at the plate with a short line-drive swing plane. Gregory has the potential to be a good power hitter and college and can really drive the ball from gap to gap. On the mound Gregory throws from a 3/4 arm slot with an easy arm action. His fastball is very heavy and he showed an effortless delivery with good command. He has a good feel for a change-up and showed a sharp curveball. Gregory is a highest-level college prospect that will contribute early on a college campus.

Greg Annarummo is a 2007 right hand hitting 3rd baseman from Bishop Hendricken HS, residing in Bristol, RI. Annarummo has a strong, broad build on a potentially powerful 6'2" 208 lb. frame that should continue to fill out and develop. Annarummo has had enough good performances in previous PG events to be well recognized as a quality player on a number of occasions. He has a quiet hitting approach and at times shows present day power with flashes of more in the future. His swing can be longish, but when his timing is good, that swing length works as his barrel stays long in the zone. There is some life in Annarummo's bat so stay with him. In the field Annarummo has good body control and good hands. he is not an actions type defender and often is not pretty making plays, but he does make plays quite consistently. It may not always look like it, but he has some feel for defense. Annarummo also pitches and for some smaller to midsize D1 programs he could perform as a two way player. He has a mid-80s fastball and a low effort delivery that suggests maybe a touch more velocity in the future. Annarummo has fluid mechanics and a three pitch mix that he uses effectively. However, his best ability is as a position player. He is a D1 prospect and should he continue to prove himself in college and to continue to physically develop, Annarummo has a chance to develop into a fair professional prospect during his college career. He ran 4.52 home/1st with a 7.36 60.

Annarummo pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with long and loose arm action with very good arm speed. He uses minimal effort on the mound. Gregory has a balanced and online delivery with leverage. He showed very good command has his fastball has late life and jumps on hitter. Annarummo's curveball is tight with 11-5 break. He also throws a 73 mph slider with tight break and a changeup with arm side fade. Gregory has a tremendous upside and is a definite follow.

Gregory Annarummo is a 2007 third baseman/pitcher from Bishop Hendricken HS in Bristol, Rhode Island, with a strong, mature 6'1"/200 pound frame. Gregory was named to the Top Prospect Team. He has good actions at third base with athletic plays on the slow roller. He has a strong arm across the infield at 78 mph. As a right handed hitter, Annarummo hits from a tall stance with a good approach at the plate. He has very good hands with good raw power and the ball jumps off his bat. Gregory showed good speed with a 7.23-60 yard in workouts. On the mound, he pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action and above average arm speed. Annarummo gets good leverage in his delivery and maintains his velocity from the stretch. He keeps his 86 mph fastball down in the zone and also throws an 11-5 short breaking curveball at 68 mph. He has good command off all his pitches. Annarummo is a must follow and is also a good student.

Annarummo is a sophomore from Northeast powerhouse Hendricksen HS in Rhode Island. He’s listed as a primary 3B but we really like him as a right handed pitcher. Annarummo has a very strong, mature body for his age. You can see his athleticism when he’s pitching, he has a smooth on-line delivery that maximizes his natural talent and is quick and confident fielding his position. Despite his relative maturity, Annarummo is very projectable on the mound. He pitched at 82-84 mph on his fastball and looked easy doing it. Annarummo’s curveball was sharp at 66-69 and will develop into a strikeout pitch for him. As a position player, Annarummo has good quickness and speed for his size and age and uses it well in the field. His actions are solid at third base and his arm strength is a bonus. At the plate, Annarummo uses his strength to develop good bat speed. He tends to get out on his front side quickly but has the hand strength to pull the bat through. He showed some raw power and we imagine he hits more than his share of home runs with aluminum. It appeared that he liked balls up in the strike zone where he could swing up to them. Annarummo is also a good student.

Gregory Annarummo is a 2007 3B/RHP/SS from Bristol, Rhode Island, with a strong 6'1", 198 lb. frame. He has a soft glove with quick and fluid actions defensively. He has quick transfers with a very strong arm. He hits from a straight stance with good balance and a short swing. Annarummo has good bat speed with an explosive rotation, and shows pull power. He has a solid approach with a short load and a high finish. On the mound he has a loose arm from a high 3/4 slot. Annarummo has a fast arm with good balance in his delivery. He has good arm side movement on his fastball that topped out at 85 mph. His secondary pitches were solid, especially his change up with good sink and fade. Annarummo knows how to play the game, and he has a great future. We look forward to seeing him in the future.

Gregory Annarummo is a 2007 third baseman/pitcher/outfielder from Bristol, RI, with a solid 6'0", 193 pound frame. At the plate, he hits with a wide stance, and has a no stride approach. He shows good power to the pull side. As an '07, he showed very good arm strength from the outfield at 80 mph. On the mound, he throws from a ¾ arm slot with good arm action on both his fastball and curveball. His fastball topped out at 81 mph with some tail, and his curveball was 68 mph. His curveball has a big 10-4 break with good arm extension. Annarummo is a possible two-way player at the next level and is one to watch in 2007. Greg is a good student.

Greg is a young 07 3B/RHP with wide shoulders and strong legs. In the field he showed good 3B actions and good HS arm strength across the diamond. His throws were accurate with a long release and smooth action. Greg could work through the ball a bit better to enhance his throwing ability and carry. With the bat Greg uses a tall stance with pull type actions due to his hips opening a little early. This action can be easily fixed. Just an 07 Greg showed the ability to hit to all fields with good barrel contact and a line drive plane. When he got a pitch to drive he showed the ability to change his approach by adding loft, this is an advanced move for an 07. On the mound he showed a big upside with a clean delivery using an over the top arm angle to move the ball around the zone. His curve ball showed good sharpness at 67 mph with 12-6 rotation and average depth. Greg's change up is well developed for an 07 showing good sink and hand side movement at 68 mph. With a good strong body and the ability to show well as a dual position player, Greg is a player to put on any 07 follow list.
