Cameron Scott is a 2009 MIF/3B with a 6'0'', 155 lb. frame from Griffin, GA who attends Spalding HS. He has a tall, lanky frame with minimal present strength. Scott is a 7.69 runner whose feet work well on defense. He has a long arm action and his throws have some carry. His hands are soft as well. Offensively, Scott is a switch hitter with similar approaches from both sides of the plate. He hits from a spread stance with a line drive swing and good hands at contact. Scott looks like he has a bit more bat speed from the right side. He takes an aggressive swing both ways, which leaves his swing a bit on the long side. He should keep improving as he gets stronger. Scott is also a good student.
