Devin Over is a 2011 SS/RHP, OF with a 6-1 183 lb. frame from Windsor, CT who attends Windsor HS. Solid athletic build, some present strength. Quality two-way prospect. Spread no stride hitting approach, busy hands, strength in swing, good leverage at contact, drives ball to the middle of the field, extended finish. Can play both IF/OF, plenty of arm strength, athletic feet, good balance, 6.76 runner, can probably play about any position on the field without exception. Some ceiling as a pitcher, steady 89-90 mph fastball, very good running action, likes to throw FB inside to RHH'ers, bat breaker, throws both CB and SL, lower release on slider, SL has sharp bite at times, CB softer spin. Athlete who can do everything at a high level. Future will determine ideal role at higher levels. Good student.
