Nico Darras is a 2012 1B/3B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Laguna Beach, CA who attends JSerra HS. Big well proportioned athletic build, good present strength. Good swing mechanics, moves into contact well, aggressive swing with bat speed, looking to hit the ball hard, has lift in his swing, will hit some home runs, potential is there to keep improving, had a number of "just missed" game swings that could have been bombs. Light on his feet at first base, good footwork, advanced technique on low throws, has been well coached defensively. Follow closely. Very good student.
