Grant Perkins is a 2012 MIF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Ola HS. Medium slender build, room to get stronger. 7.33 runner, high energy defensive player, good range, shows body control and quickness, soft hands, accurate throws. Left handed hitter, open crouched stance, stays back and moves through contact, looks to pull, vulnerable on the outside half, loose hands at contact, has some lift on the inside half, will benefit from more strength. Also pitched, upper 70's fastball from a high 3/4's arm slot, some back side collapse, some spin and bite on curveball, change sinks and runs well. Very good student.
