Carter Hahn is a 2009 RHP/1B/3B with a 6'4'', 208 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Reagan. Carter has a large and athletic frame. He has present strength with room for continued development. He starts his swing from a good stance with a wide base and flashes pop. He uses a short load and stride, and has a line drive swing plane. He makes plus barrel contact, and stays on the ball very well. Defensively he has good actions and his hands work well behind the plate. He had a 2.01 pop time, and his throws to second base are strikes with some carry. His top velocity to second base was 75 mph. He also has good actions around first base, and showed some arm strength across the infield. On the mound he has a slow delivery with good tempo and gets to a very good release point out front. He has good arm action, and arm strength with his fastball topping at 87 mph. His curveball flashes sharp and has the potential to be a very good pitch as it develops. Very good all around athlete.
