Gabby Saade is a 2006 MIF from Gulliver Prep in Miami, FL, with a 5'10", 175 lb. frame. He is a 6.78 runner in the 60 with good first step quickness. Saade is one of the smoothest defensive infielders in the 2006 class. He has very soft hands with a lightning quick release and plenty of arm strength. It's fun to watch him charge a ball and make the play look easy. Offensively, Saade is a switch hitter with solid bat speed from both sides of the plate. He hits from a spread stance and has some pop and lift in his swing, especially from the right side of the plate. Saade pressed a bit with the bat in Atlanta but the tools are there. Saade's fluid actions and instincts make him an excellent all around prospect. He's also a very good student.

Gabriel has some MLB tools. He has excellent actions in the field and a plus arm that he uses at all the shortstop angles very well.. He runs good 6.79 60 yd. on a slow track. He is one of the top 06's in the country. Every time we see him we like him a little more. Going to be a special player before he's done.

Saade is very advanced for an 8th grader and showed us some of the top SS tools in the event, that was loaded with good infielders. He has a good baseball body and is very athletic. He’s smooth defensively with good instincts and actions. At the plate, Saade was short to the ball, drove the ball hard and showed extremely quick hands. He projects well and can already play the game at a very high level.
