Max Iantorno is a 2008 1B/OF with a 6'3'', 210 lb. frame from Del Mar, California, who attends Torrey Pines High School. Iantorno has an extra large frame with present strength in his body. Defensively he stays down on the ball, and has solid actions around the first base bag. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from an average base. Iantorno shows bat speed through the zone, and he has a line drive swing plane. He keeps his hands inside the ball and he hits to all fields. Iantorno gets good extension out front. He also gets leverage at the point of contact which helps provide some projectable power. Iantorno is a very good student as well.
