Felix Marte is a 2006, 5'10-170 OF from Miami, FL who attends Barbara Goleman HS. He has a good athletic body and is very agile. Marte was one of the top hitters at the event. He is a right handed batter with excellent bat speed who attacks the ball and shows great gap to gap power. He has outstanding balance and seems to center every ball. In the OF, he shows very good arm strength with a quick release and his throws were accurate with good carry. Felix glides through his throws and is very athletic in his actions. He could be a big impact player for many schools. Marte is a very solid prospect with a projectable bat.
